On 08/05/2025 AD, the same headline was published in the Daily Ajker Bangla (epaper.dailyajkerbangla.com) and various online portals. The headline was spread by the fake news.

In the news titled “Fascist Dosor Bhoyeo Bahal Tabiyate PD Shahkamal”, the Project Director of the “Agricultural Meteorological Information System Improvement Project” of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Dr. Md. Shah Kamal Khan’s looting of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Department of Agricultural Extension, embezzlement of hundreds of crores of government money through fake bills and vouchers, corruption worth crores of taka, money laundering abroad, purchasing a flat worth about 10 crore taka in Canada as a ‘second home’ and running a business, owning two flats worth 5 crore taka in Bijoy Rakin City, Mirpur, Dhaka, purchasing bighas of land and plots in the name of his wife and relatives in Dhunat Upazila, Bogra, and having crores of taka in the bank, etc., have been spread, which are untrue, baseless, fabricated and motivated.

Moreover, since the “Agricultural Meteorological Information System Improvement Project” of the Department of Agricultural Extension was completed on December 31, 2024, since I am not performing my duties as the project director of the project after that date, the fact that I am continuing as the PD is also unreasonable and untrue.

The aforementioned news has tarnished my lifelong reputation and has caused me extreme defamation. I strongly protest against the said news.
